Scene of crime

Found in the spare room after the perpetrator had fled.

Crashing, clattering, collapsing sounds being common in this house, I didn't rush to investigate quickly enough. And so I don't know which cat is going to have seven years of bad luck.

Maybe she (I have my suspicions, O fluffy one who loves the spare room mantelpiece!) can trade them in for one of her nine lives.

À whole line of innocent faces ...." Who , Me ?" . Still , no one trod on the bits and bled everywhere .
Are you returning to the land of the living ?

I am having to totally rethink my impressions of Lottie as a decorous cushion-cat! ..... and kudos to you, even feeling as you must have done, for turning a disaster into an amusing anecdote. Hope your cold is improving, remember: "Feed a cold, starve a fever". OllieV

Ears back, a quick crouch - then life goes on entirely as normal. Not much guilt or remorse from a cat is there? Dearie me though, what a shock to be confronted with this at the scene of the crime! My grandmother broke a big mirror once and went on to have a hefty lottery win. Buy a ticket.

Oh dear.

I came home from teaching my evening class on Tuesday to find my husband and two cats watching tv. No one seemed to have noticed the dead mouse on the floor. Delightful. No one is admitting responsibility but it certainly wasn't me.

And I bet they have really innocent 'me? me? no way!' looks on their faces.
